Pedro Alvarez, MD

Dr. Alvarez’ journey in medicine began early, inspired by his parents who were also doctors. He was fascinated by the human body’s intricate workings, particularly how it can profoundly impact lives through care and support. Over a 28-year-long career, he has enjoyed building deep, familial connections with his patients, making his experience both professionally and personally fulfilling. Dr. Alvarez has been practicing medicine in Texas since 2017. He is a member of several honorary and professional societies, including the Cuban Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Association (SCORL), Balear Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Association (SBORL), American Academy Family Physician (AAFP), Texas Medical Association (TMA), and Hispanic American Medical Association of Houston (HAMAH).

He is also bilingual and enjoys serving patients in the Hispanic community. When not practicing medicine, he enjoys fishing, reading, golfing, and spending time outdoors with his family.
