Julia Nieto, PA-C

Julia Nieto, PA-C, is a Certified Physician Assistant with more than a decade of experience in family medicine. Fluent in English and Spanish, she focuses on building lasting relationships with her patients, believing that personal connection is just as important to good health as clinical treatment.

Education and experience:

• More than 10 years of experience in family medicine.
• Earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona.
• Holds a Master of Arts in Biomedical and Health Ethics from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.
• Completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with a minor in Spanish, at Arizona State University.
• Served as a Primary Care Provider in a family clinic in Tempe, Arizona, providing annual well exams, Medicare physicals, sick visits, and chronic disease management.
• Spent several years supporting the Hispanic and immigrant community as Interpreter Coordinator and Director of Volunteer Engagement for Phoenix Allies for Community Health.
• Served as a Clinical Preceptor for Northern Arizona University and Exam and Lab Proctor for Creighton University, following earlier work as Adjunct Faculty at A.T. Still University.

Julia Nieto values the relationships she builds with patients as much as the clinical work itself. She enjoys getting to know her patients and their families, celebrating their successes and supporting them during challenging times, always working to make them feel listened to and cared for. That same patient-centered approach is what she appreciates most about her work at Suvida. Outside of work, Julia loves spending time with family, traveling, and being out in nature.
