Fluent in English and Spanish, he applies his expertise in healthcare disparities and social determinants of health to his everyday practice. Education and experience:
- Obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
- Completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University.
- Refined his skills during his residency at the University of Arizona Family Medicine Residency Program.
- Served as an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Arizona Family Medicine Residency Program.
- His accolades include the Overall Faculty Excellence in Teaching Annual Award (2023), the STFM Resident Teacher Award (2022), and the Arizona Academy of Family Physicians Brazie Award (2021).
