Evelyn Villatoro, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner committed to preventive health and overall wellness. She prioritizes patient education and delivers care through the kind, holistic approach that is central to Suvida. Providing care in both English and Spanish allows her to connect more deeply with the community she serves and ensures every patient feels understood and supported.
Education and experience:
- Over 7 years of experience in internal medicine, providing value based primary care to adult and geriatric patients.
- Currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of Texas at Arlington.
- Earned a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, both from the University of Texas at Arlington.
- Managed a panel of adult and geriatric patients with complex and serious conditions requiring ongoing monitoring within a full risk, value based care model.
- Specialized experience in chronic disease management, including hypertension, diabetes, and heart failure.
- Provided comprehensive, culturally sensitive care to a large U.S. Spanish-speaking patient population.
Evelyn believes meaningful healthcare begins with connection, trust, and understanding the full context of a patient’s life. As a first-generation college graduate, she takes great pride in giving back to the community that shaped her journey. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, traveling, staying active, reading, and spending quality time with her family.
