Dr. Eduardo Valdés is an experienced physician with an extensive background in geriatric care and chronic condition management. Fluent in English and Spanish, he excels in building strong relationships with his patients, listening to them and ensuring they receive the best possible care. Dr. Valdés is passionate about improving his patient’s physical, social, and emotional well-being, reflecting Suvida’s holistic patient-centered approach.
Education and experience:
- Over 25 years of clinical experience in outpatient, inpatient, and international medical settings.
- Completed a Family Medicine Residency at the Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de Ciencias Médicas.
- Earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Instituto Superior de Ciencias Médicas de la Habana, Cuba.
- Received an Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates Certification.
- His accolades include graduating at the top of his class from the Instituto Superior de Ciencias Médicas de La Habana, Cuba, and earning Top Performance recognition during his Family Medicine Residency at Hospital Felipe I. Rodríguez in Havana.
Dr. Valdés takes great pride in being part of the Suvida team, where he can build genuine connections with the patients he serves. He feels grateful to work within a community he can connect with both in language and in culture. Outside of work, he loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, and finding new opportunities to learn and grow.
